By integrating NCEA credits into the competition, CDCC supports students’ academic and artistic growth, encouraging participation from diverse backgrounds and promoting inclusivity within the dance community. This collaboration will strengthen the connection between schools and the arts, underscoring the importance of creative education in the overall development of students, and helping them balance educational achievements with their dance aspirations.

Additionally, CDCC will film all routines, and the footage will be made available to each school for use in submitting video evidence for student assessments.
